The Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival has been running for two years when we were brought in to strengthen the brand with a new logo and visual identity. We gave prominence to the name ‘DiverseCity’, as a brand to differentiate our event from many other Art Festivals in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.
The term ‘DiverseCity’ aptly sums up Kuala Lumpur city, a potpourri of people and cultures. Everyone was encouraged to contribute a ‘KL’ symbol based on their personal feelings about the city.

The organisers sometimes receive poor quality visual materials from the artistes. Using the KL symbol as a graphic strengthens the visual impact of the publicity material.
Name Cards and Website. Designed for digital applications, the KL symbol changes dynamically, displaying all its variations.
